Important Information About Use of the AT&T Smart Limits for Wireless Service / Web Site
Ability to access the Internet is a requirement to utilize the AT&T Smart Limits for Wireless service.
AT&T Smart Limits for Wireless may overcount or undercount your actual usage. As a result, you may incur overage charges despite having set Text Messaging Limits, Web Browsing Limits or Purchase Limits, or you may be prevented from using some minutes, messages or data usage (KB/MBs) included in your plan.
AT&T Smart Limits for Wireless is not available on AT&T prepaid phones, corporate liable accounts or 4G LTE devices.
AT&T Smart Limits for Wireless does not work for blocking, restricting or filtering data usage on Smartphones, iPads, or Tablets, or while user is in WiFi mode.
AT&T Smart Limits for Wireless cannot currently be used to set specific monthly limits for minutes. All incoming calls are allowed at all times except from numbers you designate as “Blocked Numbers.”
AT&T Smart Limits for Wireless does not block any incoming calls, including incoming calls during time restricted periods, except for calls from numbers you designated as Blocked Numbers.
You are responsible for keeping the time zone setting for the phone user current and adjusting limits as necessary following any messaging or data plan changes. An incorrect time zone can result in inaccurate enforcement of time restrictions.
In some instances, AT&T Smart Limits for Wireless may not fully enforce Time of Day Restrictions.
Text Messaging Limits applies to Text messages only, and does not limit or restrict the use of MMS messages or premium charges that apply to premium text messages such as voting on the outcome of television shows and subscription services such as sports scores and horoscopes.
AT&T Smart Limits for Wireless does not block or restrict Push to Talk service, outbound messages from AT&T Messages web site or tablet, Video Share, Visual Voicemail (VVM) and voicemail, DataConnect, LaptopConnect, tethering (connecting a wireless device to a laptop), BlackBerry email and BlackBerry® Connect services.

If you are on a plan which includes domestic and/or international roaming charges, AT&T Smart Limits for Wireless does not block these charges. Limits and restrictions you set in AT&T Smart Limits for Wireless may not be enforced while roaming.
Allowed and Blocked Numbers work for enabling and blocking voice calls and text messages only and do not enable or prevent the use of instant messaging (e.g., iMessages, BlackBerry Messenger, etc), MMS messaging or Video Share.
We recommend that you set your own phone numbers as Allowed Numbers so that you and your child can continue to call and text each other regardless of limits or restrictions you set in AT&T Smart Limits for Wireless. Calls and Text Messages to and from Allowed Numbers may result in overage charges. There may be instances where an incoming call from an Allowed Number cannot reach your child when AT&T Smart Limits for Wireless restrictions are in effect or an incoming call or text message from a Blocked Number is not blocked from reaching your child. For example, if the calling party number (Caller ID) on incoming calls is not available, AT&T Smart Limits for Wireless cannot recognize it as an Allowed or Blocked number.
Content Filters is intended for use on basic and messaging phones only, and is not recommended for use on iPad, PDAs, Smartphones, or tablets. No filtering is 100% accurate, and AT&T does not guarantee filtering accuracy.
It is your responsibility to ensure that the AT&T Smart Limits for Wireless service is properly set up. You will continue to be charged the monthly fee for the AT&T Smart Limits for Wireless service whether or not you have set any of the AT&T Smart Limits for Wireless limits, restrictions, and/or other available features.
